Estimating Manager - Tier 2 Civil Contractor

This rapidly expanding mid-tier civil contractor who have been established for just over a year and already turning over in excess of $50M are on the market for Estimating Manager. Specialising in Roadworks, bulk earthworks, Bulk Excavation & Remediation the have an enviable reputation in a short period of time and are going from strength to strength with lots of projects in the pipeline. 
  
Not a company to rest on its laurels they are now moving to the next stage of expansion and require an Estimating Manager to join this team.  

This position will require you to have local experience as an estimator: this is essential to your application. Unfortunately, in depth training will not be on offer as this is a role where you will already have knowledge of the local market. It is expected that you can fit into this well respected and successful team seamlessly. 
  
Your experience will have to be with roadworks, bulk excavation and earthworks with first principles estimating. The position is self-governed to a high degree. 

Minimum requirements for applicants are as follows:

• Civil Engineering degree 
• Minimum of 5 -10 years’ experience as an estimator 
• Contract negotiation 
• Familiarity with different estimating techniques
• Ability to liaise with internal and external contacts
