The Project
CPB has a proven track record of delivering some of the most iconic infrastructure projects in Australia including roas, rail, tunnelling defence and building. This is a great opportunity to take your career to the next level. Work will be based here in Perth on a large scale infrastucture project.
Your Opportunity
We are looking for an innovative, driven and successful Safety Manager that wants to take their career to the next level. We set clear expectations of our leaders to ensure that we do no compromise the safety of our people for any reason. You will be a key component of us successfully promoting a safety culture that ensures best-practice management always.
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Must have tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Recent experience in a Safety Manager position within civil the construction industry
- Advanced ability in driving continuous improvement in safety culture by assessing the effectiveness & efficiency of operations, initiating performance improvements and sharing best practices / lessons learned.
- Excellent presentation skills to all levels within the organistion.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Well-developed people management skills including conflict resolution
- Knowledge of OHS&E principles and regulations and of Workers Compensation Legislation
- Experience completing workplace investigations
- Excellent planning, monitoring and documentation skills
