An exciting opportunity is available to join a boutique project management company for a strategic, professional, commercially minded and experienced Project Manager.

You will assist with the planning, execution and closure of a number of projects across Adelaide within both the residential and commercial markets.  The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades on-site whilst maintaining a professional and pragmatic attitude. 

This is your opportunity to join a young and vivacious company, fast gaining a reputation for high-end refurbishment and fit-out across the Adelaide region, which requires a skilled Project Manager to join their small and motivated team.  This Full-Time position is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract, travel to and from site is required.

You will:

• Document and develop comprehensive reporting and Project Management Plans, including supplying information such as work schedules, costs and budget, communications and risk management plans
• Engage key internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs
• Lead on-site project teams to ensure project outcomes are delivered on time and within budget
• Work closely with clients, architects and designers to understand their needs and ensure a congruent working relationship between the design and project teams
• Manage tender and submission processes, contract documentation and progress payments
• Action risks and issues as required and maintain a safe workplace.

Key requirements:

• Trade/Tertiary qualification in a relevant field AND/OR demonstrated experience in the construction industry
• 3+ years’ experience in Project Management
• Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and MYOB (or similar product)
• Experience working on projects and managing budgets ranging from $200K - $3m
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, problem solve and apply a pragmatic approach to complex issues
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
