We are continually seeking suitable qualified Project Managers / Contract Managers and Contract Administrators to fill vacant positions which are presented to us by our clients on a regular basis for varying infrastructure projects across Adelaide .
Tasks and duties:
- Reporting to the Principal's representative within the role of either Senior Project Manager(s) and / or Contract Manager(s) / Contract Administrator(s).
- Manage the Client's Contractor's design and construction delivery of projects (comprising of major roads) in a safe, timely and cost effective manner where the works comprise of a Program of Works including interface and coordination with other related infrastructure works / projects.
- Manage, facilitate and audit the project’s design and construction delivery including; planning, quality, technical specifications, cost and delivery schedules, dashboard reporting, field investigations, risk assessments, construction verification, Client and Stakeholder liaison including local community / councils, monitor & review progress, approve claims, manage change requests / variations, completion handover.
- Manage project delivery whereby fostering safety and environmental compliance against guidelines & best industry practices, including Government Acts, regulatory requirements, Client’s road technical specifications and standards, delivery procedures.
- Prepare and manage project contracts for program of works using Australian Standard Contracts (typically AS4300, AS4305, AS2124), prepare tenders, tender negotiate and award, manage progress payment, claims (change request / variations, inclement weather, delays, etc).
- Review construction delivery methods and assess cost & time effectiveness of project works against plans, schedules, procedures, resourcing and plant levels, critical paths and milestones, testing and commissioning, contractor's quality reviews and documentation, etc.
- Review, coordinate and facilitate work interfaces across whole of project activities, site reviews / audits, approve test procedures / hold & witness points, completion acceptance approvals and As Built documentation, hand over certification, warranty completion and project closeout.
