- Full Time Position available for our South Geelong facility
- Reporting to the Managing Director
Ground Science South West are currently seeking an experienced construction materials technician to complement our current team of skilled soil testers.
The role is to manage an Earthworks testing team which involves liaising and booking in jobs for clients, training staff members, managing the calibration schedule, issuing NATA endorsed field compaction reports and other Australian standard methods with training provided on the job.
To be considered for this position you need to have the following;
- Hold the appropriate qualifications i.e. Certificate 3 in material testing or higher
- Successful completion of year 12
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the civil construction industry
- Previously a NATA signatory (preferred)
- You will need to be capable of working in a physical, high pressure environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Hold a white card (can be obtained during training)
- The ability to communicate and liaise with clients
- Hold a current driver's license

Remuneration starting from $60,000 - $80,000 plus super, and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as per Manufacturing & Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2010 ref MA000010.
