Due to our client’s success and growth, we require an experienced Traffic Controllers to complete work in the Norhtern and Southern suburbs of Perth.
About the Role
Our client is a major player in the design, construction and maintenance of landscaping projects within the residential and commercial sector.
Working with the traffic team based out of the North and South Depots, you will be required to meet at the client’s depot and drive to site, setting up work sites, implementing traffic plans, operate stop/slow bats and work safely setting up traffic control equipment.
Duties
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Working on various sites North and South
- Controlling vehicles entering and exiting sites
- Implementing traffic plans
- Operating traffic control equipment
- Show a high knowledge set of both AS1742.3 & the MRWA Code of Practice for works on roads and for events
- Liaise with clients and attend stake holder meetings on site
Essential Criteria:
- Traffic control ticket essential
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
- Manual C Class Drivers Licence essential
- White Card
- Police clearance or willing to obtain
- Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test
- Strong written and communication skills
- Experience with hazard identification and risk assessment
