About the company:
Our client has been in operation for over 10 years and operate throughout Australia. They can deliver all aspects of surveying including cadastral, construction, civils, mining and resources as well as aerial mapping. They are one of Australia’s fastest growing survey companies and are currently experiencing unprecedented growth. This is an exciting tome to get on board.
About the Role:
Having recently secured several prestigious projects, we are seeking several Surveyors to work across these. Projects will be in Sydney and will range from high rise construction to multimillion civils infrastructure works including roads, rail and tunnels. The roles will entail conducting daily surveys and ensuring a high level of precision surveys are carried out.
Duties:
- Conducting daily surveys
- Recording data
- Uploading & calculation of data
- Liaison with Engineers and clients
- Reading of plans
- Liaising between the site and the office
- Calibration of survey equipment
- Machine control
- Formal Surveying qualifications
- Ideally have 3+ years’ experience
- Be able to work in Sydney
- A background of working on construction and/or civils projects
- Proficient with the latest Total Stations
- GPS knowledge
- Experience of using surveying software
- Be a team player
- Can think on your feet and use initiative
- Effective communication skills
- Exemplary OH&S record
