We are currently seeking an experienced leader to join our growing construction company engaged in government / commercial refurbishment and fit out construction projects.

The right candidate would need to take the lead role in the day-to-day management of site, be able to take the ownership of projects including monitoring of site safety, completion of safety administration and a proactive approach to safety practice and rectification when require.

Your key responsibilities and attributes will be:

• Run the on-site budget and business process relating to labour, overtime, small tools and hire equipment.
• Contracting and scope management and cost control/budget management.
• Prepare site programme and manage the day-to-day site activities in accordance with the programme, project plan and documentations and comply with our business systems.
• Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork with the relevant parties.
• Consistently achieve and assist labours in their obligations to meet a high quality of workmanship.

For this position, you must have strong communication, planning, organising and problem solving skills and are a motivated individual with a professional attitude and team approach. You will be trade or tertiary qualified, able to work independently with minimal supervision to meet pressured deadlines and possess both strong time management and people management skills. Practical experience for management of projects up to $20M is preferable.
