Founded in 1997, Parkview Constructions are a multi-award-winning company committed to integrity, excellence and innovation in both residential and commercial construction, with over 240 staff across multiple projects within the Sydney Metropolitan region.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to employ multiple Foremen for our existing and upcoming projects – Structures, Finishes, Facade and General Foreman.
About the role
Working within a dynamic team and reporting to the Site Manager your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Involvement and co-ordination of preliminary program in conjunction with the Site Manager
- Site Supervision and coordination of trades and external stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating risks prior to works commencing
- Maintaining overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance
- Contributing to development of work methods, rolling short term construction programs and planning of daily/weekly production work
- Maintain and monitor all environmental site specific issues
- Ensuring the project is delivered on program and to the highest standard
- Building strong stakeholder management through positive, proactive and professional communication to keep key personnel informed
- Providing leadership in health, safety and environment management
Skills and experience
- Cert III Carpentry and/or Cert IV Building qualifications (Degree qualifications a bonus)
- Have a proven track record working on high rise residential projects in excess of $30M
- Reading and understanding plans and drawings, and providing constructive review for final designs
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and subcontractors
- Must be self-motivated, demonstrating exemplary leadership and multi-tasking skills
