Our Client
Our client is a leader within the construction and fit out space, they have grown their company substancially in the past 30 years and are again adding to their team.

The Role .....
 As the Site Safety Officer for this 2.5 year project located in Mona Vale, the successful applicant would be responsible for ensuring compliance to the company WHS Management Plan for the site. 
Note: This is a permanent role with expectation that the successful incumbent would stay with the company to move on to the next project. 
The KG Business Management System which provides guidance and requirements for the WHS Plan is fully automated to a paperless system to allow the SSO to be active on site day to day. 
Working directly for the Project Manager the SSO would be responsible for the following activities;

• Risk Assessments 
• SWMS review
• Site & Task Inspections
• Plant on-boarding 
• Site Orientations (Main induction is done online)
• Incident - Accident Investigations
• Corrective Actions and Improvements
• Consultation and tool box
• Project WHS Performance reviews

The Applicant .....
the ideal candidate will have the following;

• minimum Cert IV WHS and a minimum 5 years WHS experience on construction sites with a proven track record for construction projects
• solid understanding of RMS requirements for G22 Specification
• previous experience in plant operation or mechanical experience sufficient to inspect and on-board plant
• sufficient IT prowess to use a fully paperless system on an IPAD
• training in ICAM or similar program for Investigation of incidents, accidents & near misses
• a can do attitude and good rapport with workers
