Virginia Timbers and Trusses is the leading Timber, Hardware and Truss Manufacturing Company which have been operating their family run business for over 25 years. At present employing over 30 staff and due to expansion are now seeking to recruit a permanent or part time "experienced" Roof Truss and or Wall Frame Estimator/Detailer to join their dynamic manufacturing/estimating team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional candidate who is looking to establish a long term career with our manufacturing team.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/DUTIES
- Must be experienced in Truss and or Frame Detailing/Estimating.
- Ability to interpret residential and commercial plans to complete quoting and detailing specification sheets.
- Prepare plans and specifications for truss manufacturing.
- Work with the estimation team to ensure all client specifications and time lines are achieved.
- Experience in the Pryda Build program would certainly be an advantage and favoured, but training will be provided as required.
- Strong ability to liaise between clients, factory manager, site/factory staff and head office.
