Overview

A high-profile role for a leading and highly successful Construction/Engineering firm has become available.

The role is suited to a driven all-rounder with a strong engineering background in design/construction/engineering from GM up to CEO level. 

The right individual will have the ability to command authority, the strength to effect change and improvements and the foresight to see and maximise on opportunities of growth, whilst maintaining the highly lucrative turnover through current clients.

Role requirements

• Geotechnical/Structural Engineering background and relevant qualifications
• Solid experience in Design and construction of small to large scale projects
• Oversee the operational management of fabrication and installation processes 
• Scoping and Tendering projects, develop tender budgets
• Maintain existing relationships with suppliers’, clients, engineers and sub-contractors
• Man-management and leadership of permanent, casual staff and sub-contractors
• Purchasing and negotiation of prices of materials and equipment
• Stock control and foresight on supply
• Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
• Have strong communication both written and verba
• Excellent people skills to manage and report to internal stakeholders
• Have an established network in the design/construction industry
