Lead Estimator position based in Perth available for a market leading civil contractor. $220 - $250k+super.

Their track record speaks for itself, having specialising in, road upgrades, mining and energy construction projects. Having delivered an outstanding service to their clients over such a long period, this market leading contractor is in the position where they enjoy repeat business and referrals, meaning a strong and consistent pipeline of work.
As the Senior Estimator, you will directly impact the success of the business by securing a steady flow of work through effective tender submissions. With the support of a large estimating team, you will quantify tenders from technical drawings, oversee the generation of a bill of quantities using appropriate formatting, price up the bill of quantities. You will also be responsible for post tender enquiries, plus any negotiations and reviewing contracts when required. Building and maintaining strong working relationships is essential in this role, with both external and internal key stake holders.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have experience working as an Estimator in the civil construction sector, on projects with value between $20-200m. Experience in working to Australian codes is paramount in order to be considered for this role. In addition to these skill sets, you will have a strong work ethic, clear communication skills and be able to demonstrate an ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
