Our client is a sought after nationally specified provider of surface mounted platforms to commercial construction projects. To support business growth nationally we are on the search for State Site Supervisor to oversee projects across Sydney and occasionally elsewhere in the state.

The overall purpose of the position is to coordinate and ensure our projects are delivered on time, in full and on budget. Ensuring we are delivering an awesome customer experience every time!  

To be a successful candidate, you will have a demonstrated track record in the construction & building industry and be known for your excellent project management and trade skills. To be successful you will be a self-starter with good documentation and computer skills.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and when needed take a hands-on approach to installations throughout NSW.
• Conduct site readiness inspections, site mark-ups and confirm installation dates, site conditions and site-specific requirements.
• Liaise with client site staff and confirm details and specifics required to ensure installation success
• Advise Project Management of any needs or discrepancies that may arise prior to and during Installation
• Supervising Installation Teams, including but not limited to, ensuring that a safe, secure, and healthy work environment is maintained by following and enforcing standards and procedures
• Review SWMS with client to ensure that all site and client specific are adequately covered and communicate any changes required to Project Management
• Liaise with Project Management regarding any changes to the scope and ensure that any change is executed by Installers
• Inspect Installers work, while on site to ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide Installation Support to other Installation teams, where required.
• Complete on-site ITP’s
• Ensure sites are left clean and orderly.

To be considered for this role you will possess:

• Current drivers licence
• A technical trade certificate or substantial transferable experience in the construction industry
• Demonstrated track record in the construction and building industry in a hands-on position.
• Demonstrated strong relationship development and customer service experience within previous roles.
• Have exceptional ‘on the job’ problem-solving skills.  
• Have demonstrated influencing and skilled negotiating skills
• Demonstrated experience managing teams or subcontractors
• Have excellent time and task management skills along with previous use of a CRM system.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and have previous experience learning new software.

A competitive salary package + superannuation, car and phone will be negotiable dependent on your industry experience and/or formal qualifications.
