About the business and the role
Sunstate Engineering Surveys is a well established firm operating for nearly 30 years and currently based on the Redcliffe Peninsula, with a primary focus in the Civil Construction Industry.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Civil Engineering Draftsperson to work in our Redcliffe office. This role will provide you with a relaxed and friendly working environment, although it will also give you the chance to challenge yourself.
ADAC 4 is becoming the industry standard, with ongoing & increasing workloads. We have a full time position available for someone who holds the following qualities.
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will be able to further your Civil Engineering CAD skills and proficiency with other software packages primarily associated with As Constructed submissions. Your duties will include preparation of CAD drawings and processing As Constructed data to local authority and other formats. In house support for ADAC4 training will be provided to suitable candidate
Skills and experience
- Intermediate compentency in Autocad (Essential)
- General Competency with 12D Model (Essential)
- ADAC4 Experience preferred
- Previous experience of processing survey data / information
- Understanding of civil construction designs & reading design drawings
- Knowledge & experience of SEQ Councils standards
- General Competency in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Due to the nature of the role, a high level of proficiency in the English language both oral and written is required.
