We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work alongside a Project Director and Senior Project Manager to deliver a series of major capital works projects for one of our blue chip clients. The initial role will have an advisory focus and you will learn to assist in the production of business cases for each individual project. Once the project is underway you will support the SPM in guiding the client through the life-cycle of the project from inception to design development, tendering and delivery.

This is a great opportunity to work in a tier one client side consultancy and get exposed to the end to end life cycle of a portfolio of interesting major construction projects including genuine advisory work.

The type of candidate that will work well in this team is someone who likes to problem solve and who likes to be innovative. The up-front work allows the team to bring great value add for the client which is why we train and support our team to be experts in applied thinking.

The person needs to be highly presentable, set high standards for themselves and have a thirst for learning on the job.

We have a team that has come from diverse backgrounds, we have architects, PMO specialist, contractors, structural engineers, building developers and they all bring complementary perspectives and contributions to the life cycle of a building project.

What matters more that what specific technical background you have come from is that you are the sort of person that is going to add value to a project and who the client enjoys working with.

You Must:

• Have a tertiary degree in construction, engineering, architecture or similar
• Have been living in Australia for the last 5 years
• Be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work
