THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Advisor for our Victorian telecommunication infrastructure business.
You will be responsible for providing high level HSE advice and activities, demonstrate leadership, as well as ensuring compliance with client and company health, safety and environment standards for projects.
We're not looking for a safety 'policeman', rather; we need someone who works collaboratively with field staff (and clients) and supports them to get the job done as safely as possible, whilst also ensuring that all relevant legislative requirements and internal paperwork are completed.
This will suit someone who has a genuine passion for safety and wants to play a role in helping develop a culture of HSE vigilance, accountability, ownership, awareness and leadership across multiple projects.
This role will be based out of our Campbellfield facility.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Relevant Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety
- Relevant experience in the construction industry
- An understanding of risks in the construction sector
- Preferably ICAM lead investigator
- Cert IV in Training and Assessor
- Ability to function unsupervised, working to tight deadlines
- Proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Word and Excel
- Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Current First Aid certificate
