The Role
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) is a critical focus for our business and this role is responsible for supporting the day to day improvement in the Quality, health and safety culture and performance and environmental aspects of the organisation.The primary focus of the role will be to ensure company compliance with the Quality Management System.

- Experience in Audits and Quality Management
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation and negotiation skills
- Well-developed time management and organisational skills
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation is desirable
- Qualification in Quality and Work Health Safety is desirable

Roles and Responsibilities
Working across numerous Construction projects throughout Melbourne and reporting directly to the Branch Manager, some of your day to day duties will consist of the following:
- Strong Focus on Quality control and audit process
- Monitor compliance to legal requirements and ensure internal procedures are aligned to local legislation and maintain legal compliance registers
- Communicate best HSEQ practices to staff, contractors and subcontractors
- Undertake risk assessments, SWMS, audits and incident investigations
- Carry out Quality inspections and Audits on Projects
- Enhance and promote safety culture through maintaining visibility and striking rapport with members of the workforce across all product lines and business services
- Support the development and maintenance of local HSEQ internal improvement programme
- Proactively support, develop and maintain HSEQ procedures
- Monitor HSEQ performance through audits, analysis of data, key performance indicators and establishing effective change controls
- Conduct HSEQ internal audits, supplier audits and inspections
- Be a focal point for the roll out of company safety initiatives and campaigns as part of wider HSEQ team
- Manage HSEQ non conformance's and corrective actions
- Safety Support / On-site HSEQ monitoring
- Provide support in the development of HSEQ Governance documentation
What you Need
- Previous experience as a Quality Officer or Adviser
- Cert IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- Drivers Licence
