A rare and exciting opportunity to join Metricon's busy Mount Waverley Head Office as a Senior Display Estimator within the Product Development Team!

Be part of the energetic and innovative team responsible for delivering Metricon's Award winning displays across Victoria.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure orders and site files are produced to support the display delivery program;
• Work with Metricon’s Display Construction team to develop best practice through regular on-site meetings and inspections
• Identify new retail products and contribute to their implementation into the business’s estimating systems.
• Support new innovations from Product Development into the Metricon wider business.
• Assist Product Development through sourcing suppliers and prices for new retail products;
• Ensure design team intent has been reflected through correct product ordering systems and processes;
• Contribute ideas that improve the efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the department or the sales and profitability of the business; and
• Ensure that relationships with all internal departments, external customers, suppliers, agents and contractors are maintained and improved.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Diploma in Building Construction is essential, a Degree in an equivalent course is an added advantage;
• Reasonable trade background is an advantage;
• Working knowledge of construction processes and details;
• Competent Microsoft Office suite computer skills, particularly in Excel; and
• Working knowledge of an estimating system (e.g. BusinessCraft, Timberline, HMS, Databuild and Precision) is an advantage.
