QS / Estimator

• Take off's and Tender on a diverse range of projects
• SE Suburbs location
• 4-6 years experience required

Due to a recent spike in workload this well established and respected Mid- Tier builder is looking for an estimator/QS to join its estimating department.  Over recent years this company has taken real strives forward and are now flat out with commercial and educational projects within the SE suburbs. 

They are heavily involved in hard money tendering, D & C tenders and negotiated contracts.  They are looking for an intermediate candidate who is technically strong capable of accurately measuring every trade and creating a top class BOQ.  
  
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• A minimum of 4 years post graduate experience
• Ability to work in a team environment and unsupervised
• Ability to think on your feet
• Quality take offs
• Ability to tender on multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong customer service focus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships
• Ability to read and interpret building plans/engineering drawings

 
The successful applicant will receive an hourly rate of $45 - $55 dependent on experience from a financially strong business which has been around for decades.
