Certa Plant Hire is a Western Australian owned and operated Civil Construction Company with 20 years’ experience in the Western Australian civil construction industry providing services including civil construction, demolition, drainage, earthworks, plant hire and project management.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of civil construction professionals. As the key link between construction and the MD, the responsibilities of the role will include (but will not be limited to):
- Accountable for the delivery of the construction business
- Financially manage and reporting
- Communications back to the wider business on progress and outcomes
- Responsible for optimising construction margin
- Ownership of people and culture, systems, policies and procedures
- Manage and grow internal stakeholder relationships across the wider business
- Outcome and systems based focus to business improvement strategy
- Responsible for the overall workplace health and safety
- Problem solving
- Manage day to day operations on the work site
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the relevant codes and standards.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:
- Experience with road works, drainage and bulk earthworks.
- Hands on project and financial management experience across full residential community builds, including all civil aspects
- Motivational through leadership
- Maintains composure in dealing with stressful situations or negative events.
- Ability to evaluate information or decisions to assess both the strengths and limitations
- Follows through with agreed actions, is reliable, consistent and dependable
- Strives to achieve goals and persist in the face of obstacles
