Site Foreman - High End Residential (Permanent or Contract)

The Role

The company is seeking a driven, energetic and highly experienced residential Working Site Forman to assist the delivery of its recent acquired residential projects. You will initially oversee the start to finish construction of a high end 3 story duplex, based in South Cronulla NSW. As the Site Foreman, you will be working closely with the Project Manager and Directors. You will be responsible for the overall coordination and delivery of the project and will ensure all time restraints are adhered to, whilst maintaining a high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inductions and tool box talks

• Read and interpret detailed site plans

• Coordination and liaison with consultants

• Manage and ensure WH&S requirements on site

• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers

• Implementation of construction programs and weekly targets

• Assist Project Manager in the engagement and administration of subcontractors and suppliers

• General first and second fix carpentry (as and if required)

Required Skills and Experience

• Be a hands-on leader who is able to take charge and control of the project

• Previous proven experience as a Foreman/Supervisor on luxury residential homes/developments

• Tertiary education in building or contraction (Cert 4, Diploma or Degree)

• Ability to lead and coordinate subcontractors and site personal to ensure site is working to its optimum productivity

• Be a solution orientated person who is able to overcome challenges

• Thorough understanding of WH&S

• Ability to work Saturdays as required

• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget

• Understanding and experience in a diverse range of residential building products
