Lendlease are currently looking for a Sustainability Advisor to join our Engineering business based here in Melbourne. The role will be supporting our Level Crossing Removal Project - Southern Program Alliance - as part of the wider project team.
Based at our Mentone site office, the Sustainability Advisor will assist with the development and implementation of the Project’s Sustainability Management Framework, including review and continual improvement of the Sustainability Management Plan. The candidate will be required to identify and assess sustainability initiatives and programs to achieve net positive benefits for the environment and community, whilst embedding requirements consistent with technical design solutions. A major part of this role will be working as part of a team to manage the Infrastructure Sustainability Council Australia (ISCA) and Green Star rating process, to obtain a design and as built rating.
The candidate shall have prior knowledge in application of the IS Rating and/or the Green Star Sustainability Rating Tools and must be a registered ISAP through the Infrastructure Sustainability Council of Australia (ISCA). A large part of this role will be focused on demonstrating Green Star and/or ISCA Sustainability in delivering certified ratings for the project. Ideally environmental site experience is a bonus (inspections, monitoring, reporting), as the role will require an on-site presence as part of the wider Environment & Sustainability Team.
