THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for our Victorian Telecommunications business, and the NBN FTTC role out in the western suburbs.
You will perform the role of Quality Inspector, ensuring that construction is completed in compliance with the required technical and quality standards, while leading a culture of safety and productivity. You will work closely with the construction and completions teams, with key responsibilities of this role including field inspections of completed build and identification and management of defects in collaboration with the project team and contractor personnel.
This role will be based out of our Campbellfield facility working on projects in the western suburbs.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement focus
- Able to problem solve, analyse data trends and identify quality risks
- Experience in a QA role, ideally, with exposure to civil and/or telecommunications
- Ideally an understanding of construction, commissioning and integration processes
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or construction ideal, but not essential
