HVTC Mid Coast is an expert in the employment and training of apprentices and trainees in the local region.
Our Host Company, Nambucca Shire Council is looking for motivated and career focused applicants that are eager to commence and complete qualifications in Cert II Civil Construction.
About the role
The successful applicant will gain practical experience through on the job training and complete formal trade qualifications. The apprenticeship will be supported by formal training through a Registered Training Organisation.
Selection Criteria
- A genuine interest in Civil Construction and infrastructure services
- Strong literacy, numeracy and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- A reliable, punctual and honest work ethic
- High level of safety awareness
- P1 or above drivers licence
- WHS Construction White Card
