Due to the ongoing growth of our mid tier civil construction company we have an excellent permanent opportunity for an experienced Plant Coordinator to join our successful operations team.

You will be based at our Larapinta Office and reporting to the General Manager, this is a fast-paced role that requires complex problem-solving, ability to build long-term relationships with stakeholders, coordinating and allocating plant and machinery for construction works, while responding to inquiries and processing orders to optimise client service requirements.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Management and coordination a fleet of over 150 items of plant for both Internal and External stakeholders.
- Business Development through both the sourcing of new clients & subcontractors as well as maintaining existing relationships
- Allocation of plant and personnel in line with site requirements
- Planning and allocating Plant to ensure maximum utilisation;
- Manage the booking, costs and documentation of subcontractor works
- Manage Plant on-boarding
- Provide leadership in relation to safety and ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain and build relationships with clients & contractors
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position you must/have:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
- Civil Plant Allocations & Sales Experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years in an industry related discipline in a leadership role
- Demonstrated Supervisory skills and competency
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel & GPS tracking software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to be an integral part of the Operations team as a team player and quality focussed
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules
- A positive attitude and commitment towards safety
- A willingness to learn and continually develop
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Current HR Drivers Licence – preferred not essential
