Based in Rowville
Reputable Civil construction company
70-80k + super
12 Month contract including all entitlements with a view to permanency.
Permanent hours 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday
Reporting to the Business/Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- preparation of detailed and accurate Estimates and quotations
- Ensuring contracts documentation is understood, adhered too and accurately completed
- Review of agreements and provide detail of 'scop of works'.
- Ensure Tender drawings match final contracts
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and all other relevant stake holders.
- Collate and submit variations where required
- Attend relevant client meetings as required
- Assess sub contractor claims and submit progress claims to clients
- Report any breaches to contracts, cost 'blowouts' and inefficient resources.
In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Sound estimating exposure within the building and/or Civil Construction Industry
- high eye for detail along with good numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound computer skills
- strong sense of urgency and ability to work to tight dead lines when required
- Customer service skills and he ability to work well within a team environment.
