Rail/Sales Manager NSW
We are an established and respected Railway Construction and Maintenance Company with a current opportunity for a Rail/Sales Manager to join the business and become an integral part of their team.
The Role
You will be working as a Rail/Contracts Sales Manager and be required to identify new opportunities within rail track construction, completion of pre-contract processes and successful delivery of projects. You will work closely with the current management team and site supervisor to further develop business throughout NSW and Australia.
Autonomous and independent role on offer your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Identify new opportunities within the rail construction sector
- Leadership of pre-contracts including, submissions and tendering for complex rail projects relating to track maintenance and construction
- Leadership of a diverse and dynamic casual labour force in partnership with site supervisor
- Delivery of successful program of works for projects
- Client customer service
Requirements for the Position:
- Extensive experience across rail in NSW, Australia
- Ideally you will have 10+ years’ experience within the rail industry and at least 4 years in a similar or comparable Rail/Sales Management role
- Proven experience in identifying opportunity and managing the pre-contract process with the rail industry
- Proven delivery experience on complex rail projects.
- Proven experience managing a large team of rail staff
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
