The Role:

Due to an influx of projects in the education sector, an exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Doncaster Head Office team.

In this diverse role, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, developing key stakeholder relationships and ensuring a high level of service is provided.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage task scheduling and job progress from start to finish in an efficient and cost-effective manner with a strong focus on quality
• Manage subcontractor scope and quality of works
• Manage and lead our contractors to achieve quality works to specific deadlines
• Troubleshoot and validate variations where applicable
• Build relationships with clients & subcontractors
• Source sub-contractors to build on existing trade base
• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all parties are kept well informed
• Work with other team members and business units to achieve targets & budgets
• Travel required to complete work across multiple locations within the Melbourne Metro region 
• Assist in in prompt and effective complaint resolution
• Weekly project updates including detailed description on progress of project, cost reporting and general updates

Key Selection Criteria

• Building trade background or experience supervising construction projects
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Demonstrated negotiation and analytical skills
• Ability to work in changing work environments
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stake holders
• Honest nature, positive attitude and sound work ethic
• Computer literacy
• Current and valid motor vehicle licence
• Reliable and quality sub-contractor base/relationships
