This Melbourne construction group has a history in Melbourne spanning 10+ years and they have firmly established themselves as a builder of choice for an elite group of developers and clients - providing an unrivalled pipeline of negotiated projects. Working on apartments, commercial grade townhouses and selected commercial developments, typically in the $15m-$25m range, they are about to enter their next phase of growth and are seeking an additional Estimator/Cost Planner to join the team. You will be part of a team of 5 - reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, working alongside another Cost Planner/Estimator and be supported to two other cadet level staff.
The main requirements for this position are:
- 3 or more years estimating and/or cost planning experience on commercial build and/or multi-residential projects - ideally within a head contract environment
- Advanced measurement skills with the ability to put together a full BOQ
- Sound understanding of construction practises and exposure to full range of building elements and trade disciplines.
- Excellent communication and IT skills (CostX experience desired)
