The Builder
One of the most highly regarded commercial builders in Australia, highly profitable, a strong supportive culture and an emphasis on training and developing all employees, now requires a Project Manager to lead a new project team - due to the amount of work they are winning from existing clients.
The Role
Reporting in to your Construction Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects valued between $25M - $100M and ranging from school and university construction projects, through to hospitals, medical centres and other government funded projects. The successful candidate will need to be prepared to turn your capability to any type of project. Duties will include:
- Managing a site team consisting of CA's, Site Managers, Foreman and coordinators
- Financial Management and accurate reporting of project financials
- Ensuring the project is delivered to time and cost constraints
- Manage and engage with engineers, architects and client stakeholders
- Medium and long term project planning
- Take overall responsibility for site activities

- Relevant tertiary qualifications; Construction Management/Quantity Surveying/Engineering

- Developed relationships with consultants, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers is essential
- Strong leadership, programming, financial management and communication skills
- Ability to mentor, train and develop professional teams
