John Holland, with joint venture partners CPB Contractors and Ghella (JHCPBG JV), have been awarded the contract to deliver the $2.81 billion second stage of Sydney Metro, City and Southwest, Australia’s largest public transport project.

With a new crossing under Sydney Harbour, the 15.5 km TBM tunnels will run from Chatswood, through the CBD and then to Marrickville. The project includes building complex underground structures for six new stations in Crows Nest, North Sydney, Barangaroo, Martin Place, Pitt St and Waterloo.

We are already mobilising and looking for ‘high performing’ people to join us to deliver this iconic project and leave an amazing legacy for the people of Sydney. We currently looking for an Administrator to support the project Safety team based at Sussex St.

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensure accurate records of incidents, accident investigations and all legally required records are readily available on request. Ensure that these WHS records are input progressively into the relevant databases so all WHS records are up to date and accessible.
  • Assisting the Safety Advisors and Safety Manager with the administration of project safety.
  • Work with WHS Team to contribute to WHS strategies and Project initiatives.
  • Understand the safety teams’ commitments and administrative requirements to ensure support across all functions.
  • Assist where appropriate with WHS operational and administrative support activities.
  • Assist with WHS training packages as required.
  • Collect, process and collate WHS data to develop monthly Health & Safety reports as required.

 

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience as a Health & Safety Administrator is highly regarded, or broader Construction/Compliance administration.
  • A minimum of two years working in an administration environment with an eye for detail and appreciation of importance of ‘right first time’
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills is highly regarded.
  • An interest in the construction industry.
  • High levels of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
