WHO ARE WE?

Daly's Traffic Pty Ltd commenced operations in Victoria in 2003 with the aim of providing the highest level of professional traffic management services to a broad range of industries.

Based in Williamstown, Victoria, we have continued to grow our business by delivering professional services to our clients and looking for ways to better the industry as a whole, focusing on the safety of our people, clients and road users.

We have developed strong working relationships with many valued clients including VicRoads, Yarra Trams, CityLink, local councils and numerous private clients.

We have developed systems and processes to ensure the safety and quality of our services and are proud to have achieved certification in the IOnternational Standard for Quality Systems (ISO9001:2000), and the Australian Standard for Health and Safety (AS4801:2001).

Daly's Traffic directly supports Daly's Constructions (Australia) Pty Ltd who have been providing specialist civil and electrical construction services to the Energy Infrastructure Industry for over 40 years.

WHAT IS THE ROLE? 

Reporting to the Company Directors, the Operations Manager manages all aspects of Daly's Traffic.

• Scheduling, resource management and work allocation.
• Health & Safety management to ensure works are completed safely including on-site auditing.
• Client management and business development.
• Liaising with government bodies in relation to road closures and permits.
• Procurement of traffic equipment and other materials.
• Assist in development of Health and Safety, Environment and Quality initiatives to legislative and customer requirements.
• Provide support to management as required.
• Ensure all sites are managed and controlled to relevant standards and legislative requirements.

The role is permanent, based in Williamstown, Victoria and provides an excellent opportunity for a strong, independent individual.

The successful applicant will have wide experience in traffic control in a management role.

• Have detailed understanding of traffic management regulations and legislative requirements.
• Experience in business development and a willingness to grow the business.
• Be proactive, professional and with a flexible approach to work.
• Be prepared to take personal responsibility for their own work and be accountable for delivery and quality.
• Have excellent organisational skills and be able to manage time effectively.
• Be an effective and confident communicator.
• Be well presented with a positive, proactive and professional approach.
• Be able to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Have the ability to work in a team who are goal oriented.
• Have the ability to handle difficult situations and prioritise workloads.
• Possess an Australian Drivers Licence and traffic controller ticket.
