Senior Contracts Administrator
We are Australia’s largest privately owned mining, construction and maintenance services company, working across the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.
The sustained growth we are experiencing now, presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our Commercial Team in our Brisbane office.
Reporting to the Manager Commercial, the Senior Contracts Administrator will support the Commercial Team in the review, negotiation and preparation of various Commercial and Contract Documents whilst ensuring effective Risk identification and ongoing management of commercial and contractual issues.
Working in a diverse environment, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring tender submissions are reviewed in compliance with Company’s policies and procedures;
- Reviewing commercial documents and contracts in accordance with the BGC Risk profile(s) and propose appropriate Commercial recommendations in a timely manner;
- Ensuring all approvals for Commercial Risk Profiles and qualifications are obtained prior to tender submissions;
- Developing Procurement Execution Plans in consultation with the bid and estimating teams;
- Offering general commercial strategic advice to pre contracts and business development teams.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Commerce/Quantity Surveying, law or appropriate discipline;
- Previous experience in a similar or related role with a Construction business;
- A strong understanding of general construction legislation and in particular Queensland state legislation;
- Understanding of Planning and Scheduling software, preferably Prima Vera.
