What an excellent time to move into a site based, OHS Advisor/Coordinator role. This opportunity exists within a modern forward thinking builder/developer based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs.
 
The company is steadily growing and developing larger projects.  An opportunity exists on a $25M high end apartment project in the Northern suburbs.  It is a large footprint project with five above ground levels as well as a basement carpark.  This is the largest project this builder/developer has undertaken and it realises the importance of on-site safety so is looking for an enthusiastic and capable operator.  
  
As the safety coordinator you will be responsible for administering the safety systems, managing toolbox talks, overseeing method statements and risk assessments and working to ensure staff and contractors are operating in line with agreed methods of construction.


 Your roles and responsibilities include:

• Dealing with day to day safety issues on site
• Overseeing toolbox talks, SWMS, risk assessments
• Facilitating and coordinating a safety culture on site
• Attending key stakeholder meetings to ensure safety message is spread at all times
• Ensure all safety administration, safety procedure and documentation is completed
• Occasional labouring & logistics management
