Position

Working from our National office based in Glebe, you will reporting to the General Manager. This senior leadership position entails a self-aware individual who, by their own example, can cultivate a project culture that works alongside and with, a very diverse team of managers and innovation specialists to the benefit of the entire organisation and its project partners and stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring on site Project Team Leaders and Project Managers have a clear understanding of all project related processes and tools
  • Ensuring regular project reporting and decision-making for all projects is in place regarding project quality, KPIs, status, risks and finances, and all projects are reporting in line with requirements
  • Managing and supporting the Todae Solar's growing program of work through winning future projects
  • Assist in establishing, sustaining and enhancing  resource management systems to support organisational project resourcing
  • Deliver allocated project(s) on time, on budget and to the expected level of quality while maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.

 

Program Management Requirements

  • Professional qualification in project management
  • Proven track record of 7+ years in supporting the delivery of complex multi-stakeholder programmes and projects in a programme management office or similar
  • Experience in establishing new systems and supporting the establishment of new projects, in addition to managing existing systems and projects
  • Understanding of a range of different project management methodologies that could be applied to projects in Todae Solar  to support innovation
  • Solid experience in resource planning and management
  • Experience directly managing teams and people
  • Strong organisation and planning skills to build a new team and capability, with technical mastery in the main project management methodologies and processes
  • Proactive in initiating new opportunities while ensuring strong delivery of commitments
  • Proven track record as a mentor, guiding and training senior and multi-disciplinary teams
  • People management skills with ability to build, guide and motivate
  • Preferably a thorough understanding and experience of the administration of Australian government's WHS and regulations for Solar power
  • Good understanding of different procurement approaches and issues, including experience with a sub-contractor culture

 

 Position Requirements

  • Working from the head office and from site from time to time
  • Interstate travel as required
  • Current motor vehicle licence
  • 5 days per week (Weekend work may be required from time to time)
  • Solid experience in project management (preferably in solar or construction industries)
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office, and MS Project
  • Laptop and mobile phone provided

*#1 Commercial Solar Installer 2015, 2016 & 2017 (for systems 75kW and over) as verified by SunWiz.
