BMS Project Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the engineering aspects of building automation systems. We believe a happy work environment helps deliver great quality work and are committed to ensuring our staff have a diverse range of responsibilities to ensure they are stimulated. Some of the key responsibilities of this role are: system design, program code, project documentation, graphical work, network configuration and integration.

To be successful you'll require:

Prerequisites:

• Advanced PC skills
• Control systems knowledge and or experience
• Prior BMS and or HVAC experience
• Programming knowledge and or experience
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of networking
• Experience in MS Office suite & Visio
• Documentation experience
• WH&S General Induction Card
• Current NSW Drivers Licence

Following experience would be advantageous:

• Electrical, HVAC&R and/or mechanical system knowledge.
• Understanding of database queries and reports
• Experience with small and major works contracts and WH&S policies
• Web Programming languages - HTML, JavaScript, PHP
• Building controls systems/protocols - Niagara, BACnet, Modbus, FINStack
• Data networking – LAN/WAN’s wired and wireless

The successful candidate would be exposed to all engineering aspects of the BMS including:

• System design
• Part selection
• CAD drawings
• Program code
• Graphical work
• Controller and network configuration
• Workstation and server configuration
• On site commissioning
• Project Documentation
• End user training
