Fit out Site Manager/Foreman - Permanent 


My Client an established Fit Out Contractor is looking for  a site manager to work on a permanent or contract basis for an Office Fit out project based in Canberra. Due to a number of successful tenders their is an opportunity for a site manager to run a number of projects in Canberra with significant career growth on offer. 


Your new company
This reputable construction and fit out specialist is well established across the Australian market. They deliver a range of commercial projects and fit-outs ranging from $1m-$10m in project value. They have experienced management and site teams that deliver exceptional projects spanning across commercial, health, education and industrial projects.


Your new role
As a Fitout Foreman you will be required to manage and motivate a team of sub-contractors, pushing the job to be completed both on time and within budget. You will have a particular eye for detail as the client is known for their high-end finishes. Your vast knowledge of the industry, as well as OHS standards will allow for you to manage the team accordingly in a safe and timely manner.


What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must hold previous Foreman experience delivering fitout projects up to $10m+ in value. Project experience in commercial refurbs is essential. Trade qualifications in building combined with strong communication and time management skills, attention to detail and an excellent work ethic are strongly encouraged for this role.
