Our client is a leading Construction company who have a strong visionary method to produce award winning projects. This company is extremely multi-skilled within this industry as they expand into design, construction, property development, strategic marketing and hospitality management.
Our client is seeking two very strong and experienced Foremen who possess the reliability to handle a team and are look for a long term role. These roles are for the right person to fit into a successful business and grow within the company.
This opportunity is unique in that your particulars will be highlighted within the company where you will develop. This company is looking for particular individuals who can change the company and further enhance winning projects. You will need to be well versed in multi-storey Residential/ apartment builds.
Your duties will include:
- Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of the contract, the specifications, the applicable Collection Agreement and safety and environmental regulations
- Complete programming and scheduling
- Ensure that all workers are inducted into site conditions and rules including those relating to safety and environmental control
- Monitor/manage the safety and Quality Assurance
- Co-ordinate the work of employees and subcontractors. Monitor progress, quality, and compliance to safety and environmental standards and take prompt corrective action as necessary
- Forward plan daily/weekly/monthly construction work including resource requirements, trade co-ordination
- Manage site security and material/plant deliveries and storage and general housekeeping
- Maintain day-by day site diary records including photographs
- Experience in the management and delivery of projects
- Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
- Highly proficient attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
- Be proficient in using the Microsoft suite including Microsoft Project (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated reliability
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask
- Be professionally presented
- An enthusiastic approach to work
- A positive attitude is a must
