ABOUT THE COMPANY.

An award winning Commercial Fitout Group specialising in the delivery of commercial office and retail projects valued from $500K to $5M. With a strong focus on quality and timely delivery, this company has grown into a preferred supplier in the industry. With an impressive portfolio of completed projects, this firm has secured a healthy pipeline of projects for the coming 3 years.

ABOUT THE POSITION.

As a Leading Hand, you will report to the Site Manager. You will be provided the training to manage and oversee the delivery of commercial fitout projects across Sydney's CBD. You will be provided the ability to run projects autonomously and the ability to progress into further management within 12 months. You will be required to work a Monday to Friday working week.

DUTIES.

• Read and interpret detailed site plans
• Conduct inductions and tool box talks
• Manage site safety, WHS, trades and subcontractors
• Assist in managing the construction programming
• Ensure time restraints are adhered to

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Lead carpentry experience on commercial fitout projects
• Cert III in Carpentry
• Understanding of plans, WHS and site safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work autonomously and follow direction
