Hire Force are currently on the hunt for a reliable and hardworking "Forklift Driver/Yardie" to work for our client based in Blacktown.
Our client is a major hire company with branches throughout the country.
This job will require you to to perform the following duties
- Operating a 2.5 tonne and 10 tonne forklift
- Moving hire equipment around the yard (road barriers, portable buildings, temporary fencing, plant equipment)
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Repairs on plastic road barriers (plastic welding) - training will be given
- Cleaning hire equipment
- General yard housekeeping
- Liasing with drivers and internal staff
Requirements needed for this job
- Must hold a current forklift licence
- Have your own car for work and current drivers licence
- Must be fit and healthy to do manual work throughout the day
- Current construction white card
- Have good verbal communication skills as you will be working with others throughout the day
- Must be available to start straight away
Hours of work are - 6am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
