Our client, is a leading building company providing unique living solutions for families and individuals throughout Victoria. They are a close knit team of staff who are family focused, creating a great atmosphere to work in which reflects in the service provided.
Currently there is an exciting opportunity to join the team to lead and supervise trades at the Ocean Grove location.
The Role
The position reports directly to the Construction Manager. Duties include:
- Management and supervision of site trades
- Program jobs into a schedule ensuring a well-managed construction process is achieved
- Conduct regular quality checks
- Conduct inspections and handover with clients
- Monitor trade resource requirements to meet monthly order demands
- Assist staff/sub-contractors to understand and implement safety policies and procedures at the Ocean Grove site
- Monitor trade and supplier performance to ensure quality and accuracy is achieved
About You
- Proven leader who is able to communicate effectively to trades
- A desire to work as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is beneficial
- An energetic & enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to work with people to get results
- Building and construction knowledge is critical
- Trade background in carpentry or similar is highly regarded
