The Project Manager role is available to a suitably experienced candidate who is a proven leader, quality driven and ensures safe practice and profitable projects. The successful candidate must be a respectful and effective manager of people, sub contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure lasting relationships are maintained and developed.
Experience, qualifications and personal attributes required:
1. Relevant qualifications from an accredited Australian university or a minimum ten years relevant equivalent project construction experience in a similar role.
2. Proven ability to manage: document control, obtaining market pricing, subcontractor/consultant appointments and general administration for all trade and consultant disciplines.
3. Demonstrated ability to liaise proactively with different disciplines within the Company and externally with subcontractors / suppliers is essential.
4. Sound proficiency in Cheops™ Jobpac™ (or similar), Buildsoft™, Microsoft Office™ software programs and other business systems relevant to the role.
5. Excellent time management and the ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines.
6. A demonstrated ability to accept responsibility, work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team and willingness to take direction and feedback from senior /executive management.
7. Excellent attention to detail with high level organisational, problem solving, analytical and customer service skills.
8. First class verbal and written communication skills.
9. A high standard of personal grooming and presentation appropriate for the position and Client exposure.
10. Self-motivated, passionate, friendly, proactive, professional, positive attitude, reliable and punctual with a high level of integrity and a sound understanding of appropriate behaviours in the workplace.
11. A preparedness to learn and adopt new technology, work practices, systems and procedures; underpinned by sound technical competence.
