An excellent opportunity has become available for a dedicated and motivated After Sales Service Manager to join our team and lead the service division, focusing on after sales support of our products in the marketplace.  The role forms an important part of the organisation and will have direct focus on customer service, efficiency, safety and quality.

 

Reporting to the General Manager the key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Manage the field service processes and ensure staff are resourced to meet the demand of the work out in the field.
  • Drive strategic development of the division to ensure profitable growth moving forward.
  • Ensure job coordination and scheduling for efficient and effective operation.
  • Undertake all quoting for field service work as well as service related workshop projects.
  • Ensure all service work is completed within budget and to the customers expectations. 
  • Maximising team productivity through the efficient allocation of resources.
  • Establishing new customer relationships whilst consolidating and strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Implement processes for the day to day running of the division
  • Develop and set action plans for the service department ensuring they are aligned with the values of the organisation.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment and safe work practices, ensuring continuous improvement within the division.
  • Determine where warranty faults have occurred and ensure it is rectified good continual customer communication skills.
  • Complying with relevant standards within the Fire Protection Industry where required.
  • Ensure the Power Industries brands are promoted and protected as the proven alternative within the fire protection industry.

This role is an autonomous role for a highly motivated individual who has the ability to drive a division forward. 

Other skills and experience critical to the role are:

  • Technically sound and have experience working with operational pumps
  • Have a sound knowledge of the fire safety industry.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and deal effectively with customer feedback.
  • The ability to identify and analyse  improvement and growth opportunities in order  to move the division forward
  • Must be self-motivated and have effective time management skills.
