A Non-For-Profit Senior Project Manager job to deliver end to end capital works projects to community centres
Your new company
A Not-For-Profit organisation in Melbourne's East is seeking a Senior Capital Works Project Managers to deliver end-to-end building projects for an initial 5 month period, to community centres and buildings.
Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing building projects from end to end, and will include:
- Generating project briefs
- Bringing projects though design and development phase
- Preparing tender documents
- Engaging with Consultants and contractors
- Overseeing construction
- Overseeing contract management
- Managing defects/liability periods
What you'll need to succeed
To experience success in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in completing end-to-end capital works building projects.
You must also:
- Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Have a customer-driven mindset to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Be proactive and ideally have experience working within NFP organisations
- Be approachable, friendly and willing to collaborate effectively with others
- A technical qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field will be highly advantageous
