Your new company
A Public Victorian organisation is seeking a Building Inspector (Limited/ Unlimited) to join a newly created auditing division in carrying out inspections on completed commercial buildings throughout the Melbourne region. With flexible start and finish times on offer and attractive rates, this is an excellent opportunity to join a distinguished company and hit the ground running ensuring safety and compliance is upheld throughout Victoria.
Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out building inspections on completed builds and existing buildings focusing on aged care facilities, hospitals and apartments.
- Assessing, documenting and reporting to Senior team members
- Inspecting and reporting on essential safety measures + Cladding
- Other strategic and technical administration tasks
- Engaging with community members and other relevant stakeholders
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Diploma in Building Inspections
- Victorian Building Practitioner Board Registration or relevant commercial experience
- Demonstrated practical experience as a Building Inspector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the community
- Proactive attitude and solution seeker!
