Lucas TCS are pleased to be the balance of plant contractor for the renewable energy project 'Granville Harbour Wind Farm' on the West Coast of Tasmania.
The Project |
The green-field site is located just north of the Granville Harbour township and will cover an area of approximately 800 hectares. Project scope for Lucas TCS includes 31 x wind turbine foundations, associated hardstand areas and 16km of interconnecting roads.
The Role |
Expressions of interest are invited from Civil Project Managers, ideally with wind farm experience, who have technical capabilities coupled with leadership qualities to effectively lead an operational project team.
Responsibilities include coordinating the construction program, project planning, contract and claim management, variations and negotiations, scheduling works and WHS compliance. You will also need to manage the interface with the client and other key stakeholders on the project.
You will ideally possess the following:
- Experience in successful project delivery.
- Experience in the construction of wind farms or other energy infrastructure projects including large civil on green field sites.
- Qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience with project programming, cost and quality control, procurement and supplier engagement.
- Knowledge of earth moving plant operations, capacities and program management.
- Experience in monitoring risk and being accountable for project deliverables.
- Ability to foster a 'safety-first' culture.
- Commercial acumen, team building capability and people leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients, project stakeholders and the local community.
Remuneration will be negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
All travel and accommodation costs will be paid by Lucas TCS. We would especially like to receive applications from Project Managers residing in Tasmania, however applicants are invited who can FIFO from VIC, SA or QLD.
