The Company
Stevens Structural offers services to clients from the initial estimating stage, through to drafting, fabrication, transport and the installation by our experienced erection teams. We have a reputation for excellence and are committed in continuing to supply our customers with the highest quality product coupled with an exceptional level of service. Due to our vast growth within our company an opportunity for a Structural Steel Estimator has arisen.
About the Role
As the Structural Steel Estimator, reporting to the office manager you will work to ensure detailed Structural Steel take-offs are up to standard and submit all quotations on time to our clients. There is no experience required and all training will be in-house. With the bigger picture always in mind your work will reflect best practice allowing a smooth transition through the construction process. You will communicate effectively with productively with Architects, Engineers and clients with a quality outcome in mind at all times.
Skills and Experience
* Analytical skills to maximize accuracy of quotes and conduct back-costing exercises
*Experience within estimating would be an advantage
* Adherence to deadlines and time management
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills
* High level of verbal and written communication
* Construction knowledge and a trade background is an advantage
