The Company:
For over 30’s year’s this Mid Tier builder has dominated the commercial workspace. As an award winning builder they have consistently won the affection’s of their client base delivering complex and interesting commercial ,retail, hospitality, aged care, health, entertainment and infrastructure, transport based Sydney projects.
With major project focus in their commercial, fit out and refurbishment remit, they have recently secured an $87 million, 7 storey fit out and refurbishment, and need to appoint 3 x Savvy Site Engineers to help with QA and contract Administration.
The Roles:
With high commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills and a sheer passion for your work you will be required to work well autonomously, but also well within a team, communicating effectively with peers and designated Project Manager daily.
You will help manage some of Quality assurance and some of the financial aspects of sub-contract packages for their Mixed Commercial portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Progress claim assistance, external variations, preparation of subcontractor packages.
- Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising subcontracts.
- Administering RFI’s.
- Preparing subcontract package’s (scopes, procurement and scheduling)
To be Successful:
- You will have 2 year’s plus experience working for a reputable Australian recognised Builder on mixed projects over $5 million.
- Degree qualified in Construction Management or equivalent.
- Experience in sub contract claims, variations, and cost planning.
- A thirst for a challenge, energy to over achieves, and vision to exceed.
