WHO WILL I BE WORKING FOR?

This company is a well renowned design  and construct firm specialising in the commercial and residential sector. This company has been around for over 50 years and is known  for their exciting projects all over Sydney. Boost your CV with a variety of project exposure depending on what you want to specialise in. WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

As a Leading Hand, you will be reporting to and mentored by the Foreman., You will be responsible for liaising with sub-contractors, liaising with externals and ensuring the projects gets delivered on time and on budget. You will have the opportunity to choose whether you want to work in the residential sector or commercial sector to ensure job satisfaction.


WHAT ARE MY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Managing Sub-Contractors and suppliers 
• WHS management
• Attending Sub-Contractor meetings
• Toolbox talks
• Reading and interpreting plans

  
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO BE CONSIDERED?

• Currently studying or completed a building related course
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Leading Hand
• Excellent problem solving skills and time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Site set-out and mark-out
